There Are a Lot of Daves Out There

Think about it. You probably know at least three. There's the Dave at work who microwaves fish on Fridays. The Dave at church who's first in line for the potluck. The Dave in your family who tells the same joke every Thanksgiving and laughs hardest at his own punchline. Daves are everywhere — and somehow, until now, nobody had given them their own thing.

That felt wrong to us.

How This Started

It started with a birthday and a problem.

A few years back, someone needed to buy a gift for the Dave in her life — her husband, a perfectly good man who owned too many golf shirts and had no strong opinions about anything except the grill and the remote control. She wanted something that actually made him laugh. Something that said I see you, Dave. I see exactly who you are, and I love it.

She couldn't find it. There were generic "World's Best Dad" mugs everywhere. There were shirts with his birth year on them. There were things that were trying too hard and things that weren't trying at all.

So she made something. A hat. It said "Certified Dave" — like an official seal, a stamp of authenticity, a document confirming that yes, this man is a Dave in the fullest sense of the word. He wore it to a barbecue. Three people asked where they could get one.

That's basically the whole origin story.

What We Make

We make apparel — hats, t-shirts, and hoodies — designed specifically for Daves and the people who love them. Every item is $30, flat. No tiers, no "premium" versions, no math required at checkout. Free shipping, always.

The designs are what you'd call extremely on-brand for a Dave: "Bad Dads." "Hey Dave." "Mrs. Dave." "Happy Father's Dave." Stuff that gets a real laugh — not a polite one. The kind of laugh where someone shows their spouse immediately and says we need this.
